Sacred Heart College had an impressive and interesting historical archive of materials about the Sisters of St Joseph, founders of the school, renown for their passion for educational and community service.

Luttrell Pyefinch worked with Futago to bring these materials out into light and house them in a space that provides an engaging historical library for students and staff to enjoy and gain a greater understanding of their school’s origins.

A folding wood form houses a plinth and cabinet for the display of treasured artefacts with interpretative graphics lining the walls. A minimal colour pallete and polished timber floors provide a quiet and reflective space for contemplating the Sister’s journey.
